Pharisee Nation
http://informationclearinghouse.info/article8113.htm

A great, concise examination of the American Taliban Movement (otherwise known as the Protestant Christians of the U.S.).

Very Good!

Next time I talk with a Christian conservative...i'm going to call him a Pharisee...and tell him that Jesus did not bless the "warmakers"...and then walk away. No use talking to the brainwashed.

Includes "Pharisee Nation".

3. Amen..
why isn't his easy to understand logic perceptible to the American Taliban?

It can't get more clear than

"Blessed are the Peacemakers" and

"Do Onto Others as you would want them to do unto you"

The first one explicitly delegitimizes warmakers (the Bush Administration).

The second gives us the intellectual framework to understand 9/11, and the context in which it occured.

We have all the information and intellectual tools to forge a better world...we CHOOSE not to.

4. Amen
Some of my best teachers in high school were Jesuit priests. They taught me to use my mind - think for myself and work things out logically. My parents sure got their money's worth on that deal.

5. I just actually read the article
and I have to say -- WOW. That is one powerful piece of writing. I just might send a copy of it to my Born Again friend - who surprised me by voting for Kerry.
