Arch-conservative won't back Bush

I hesitate to post a column by a winger like Reese, especially when he uses part of it to critize Kerry. However, his overall message is that he will not support Bush* for re-election.

He had articles in local paper for years and I communicated with him and found him to be reasonable. His article was dropped because it was not conservative enough for a Freedom Newspaper.

I read his columns all the time - very good source for Bush bashing!

8. Charley Reese gets it right...

sort of. His assessment of Bush is delightfully sharp, while I reluctantly supported this war, his analysis of Kerry as a two-face, Lieberman as Bush-lite, and Dean as the only consistent candidate is dead on. He's winger, but there's hope for him.

Are not committed to Capitalism as the most fundamental social value. They prefer private enterprise, yes, but given evidence or a reasonable argument that a particular manifestation of Capital conflicts with their other core values, they'll jettison Capital.

about - self responsibility. I like him.

However, the Grand Ole Party has been taken hostage and is being used by corporate big wigs and special interests, hey, kind of like alot of whats happening in our own Party!

for RW....but then who knows sometimes. :shrug: I thought he was short, to the point....and said it all!
