A heartfelt letter from an Iraqi to America. The English is pretty broken, but you can catch his (her?) drift. From today's Gulf Daily News, Bahrain.

A LETTER to America.
<snip>
Each day you wake up in tranquillity without a fear to cross your eye. Whereas my brothers and sisters living in the countries you set your foot, wake in gratitude thanking God for letting them rise for another day.
America, you worry about your education and the bills you have to pay. Whereas my brothers worry about their vulnerable lives and whether they will survive another day in the "paradise" that you have created for them with your might and money.
Your biggest fear is getting ticketed while cruising in your Cadillac, but my people in Iraq have got a different story. Their fear is the tank that just left their house would turn around, come back and take away the roof over their heads and maybe their head too.
America, do you realise the taxes you pay feed the forces who are forced to traumatise my people. Bulldozers, tanks, gases, guns and I wish I could run down the list but my heart won't let me complete words that spell mass destruction.
You think you know all about terrorism. You've even fought a war thinking you were right on terrorism. So let me define this term for you and teach you what you thought was right. It is my chained brother in a prison you abuse with a dog. It is the way you treat my brother who you have jailed in Guantanamo Bay.
See all the problems you cause because you don't know the meaning of terrorism. It is the funding of a nation to fight against innocent people. And if you still didn't get the meaning of terrorism, then let me break it down for you as you are so used to breaking down.
