...Zambrano has the breakout year I'm expecting, Woody and Prior stay healthy, and they get some of that '03 magic back, it just might be. I'm so happy to see Sammy, that steroid monster and gross defensive liability, gone, I'm looking forward to a summer's worth of solid, winning team baseball. Barring that, of course, I'd still have a lot of fun at Wrigley.

3. Amen brother!

I like our chances. The starting 5 should be the best in baseball and
our line-up should manufacture more runs this year. We led the league in solo HRs last year and that didn't get us anywhere.

If Burnitz and or Dubois/Hollandsworth don't produce, we could get a solid corner OFer at the trade deadline. Otherwise our line-up is solid. If Dempster or whomever can become a steady closer and the above plays out as we would like, this really could be our year!

My g/f and I will be moving to Chicago sometime in May. I can't wait and yeah no matter what happens it will still be fun going to the baseball (and old-time football) shrine that is Wrigley Field.
