One way or another, chatty Joe Biden gets himself noticed

Delaware Sen. Joe Biden's trip to California was an excellent adventure. The Democratic stalwart issued his quadrennial hint last week that he's considering another run for president, and got some attention for his repartee on live TV with a couple of Hollywood comedians.

Biden revealed his competitive stirrings to the San Francisco Chronicle, saying he was "sounding it out" and was in California "meeting people who would be helpful if I ran."

has been there too long and talks a big story but never seems to follow through in case he hurts some Repub friend's feelings. I was about to lost interest in any Dems at all.

And I hate to burst bubbles, but backing Hillary in '08 is bound to be as much of a disaster as backing Biden would be. It's time we had a REAL Democrat run. Not one whose campaign strategy consists of running as Bush-lite. I loved Kerry, but come on man, what the hell were YOU thinking? What're the rules and regulations for a possible bid by the DNC chair? And THIS time, no MSM "Is he too angry??" bullshit will get in the way!

Why aren't other Dems out there? Do they only invite him...or does no one else want to get out there and make our case.

What a "grandstander" this guy is...Full of great sounding blather..which in the end, signifies nothing.. :shrug: I swear I think the Pundits use him to make us look bad, or to make it look like there's no one buy Biden and Dodd in the Democratic Party!
