I just walked in the door from the EVENT!speech was awesome and it
looks like Wed. is the day we'll get our answer.Harold Ford stated in
his speech after Wed.we would know if Clark was running.The General
was well recieved by the Knoxville audience.The Generals speach
covered alot of ground ,starting out with accountabilty and this
admindtrations handling of terrorism before and after 9-11.He also
took on the right wing establishment Tom Delay,Rush Limbaugh,Bill
O'Reilly and Micheal Savage,telling them to bring it on.I have been
to several rallies before but This EVENT,was the best one I have ever
been to.It was sincerly inspring.Wesley Clark protrudes an atomsphere
of confidence and abilty.This man is the real deal.Folks we have
ourselves a winner,it's all up to him now.I hope and pray he says yes
to running.

Al Sharpton and Wesley Clark were both
there. It was pretty much a Wesley Clark party. One speaker after
another either implied that Clark should run or said it. I can
almost guarantee you that Congressmen Harold Ford Jr. and Lincoln
Douglas are in the Clark camp. Harold Ford made a bruising non-
remark for Dean. It was brutal. There were envelopes under every
seat. Every one of them had a Draft Clark sticker.
A bunch of the local people spoke first. Then Sharpton
spoke. He did a great job. He gave a great speech about hypocrisies
and programs that he would like.
It was a love fest between Sharpton and Clark. Sharpton
started it saying some nice things an acknowledging Clark at least
three times. Sharpton said that he hopes that at some point "an
Officer and a Gentleman" will be working together. Clark kept it
going when he spoke.

Wesley Clark gave a fiery impassioned speech about America.
He used Harry Truman as the theme. It was a very powerful speech.
It was the most animated I have ever seen him. It was also a brutal
assault on Bush and friends. Truly amazing!!! He had the room
standing, cheering and clapping. He won over the room like it said
in that Esquire article. The other candidates don't stand a chance
if he runs.
I am almost certain that he is running. He gave a clue that
he was. Another clue that he was, was that he kissed a baby. I
thought that was hysterical. The baby had a Draft Clark t-shirt.

I would love to hear a "bruising non-remark" made by a legislator against a candidate. Hmm...mm..

4. Ford was mentioning all the Democratic candidates names

and left out Dean and Liberman.He later apoligized and named them both.It looked awkward.No doubt about the Clark/Sharpton chemistry though.

5. Mud will be slung by Clark and Dean supporters even if Dean and Clark

were amicable. It looks like Clark will be getting conservative Democratic support, like Ford. But he also seems to have fans on the left side of the Party, even the Nader side, like Moore. Where does Charlie Rangel falls on the spectrum?

6. Is Sharpton a conservative? You just don't get it.

Clark appeals to liberals as much as anybody. Why? Because he's liberal.

2. I heard Clark speak earlier this week on the radio.

He's good. He's very, very good. I certainly liked what I heard.

I hope he does decide to run, but most of all, I hope he does indeed make his announcement, yes or no, by Wednesday. I really think he is the one I will back, once he announces.

I am also anxious to see what the media will do if he decides to run. It has been interesting to hear the media twist and garble their way through so far. Trying to "look" like they are offering a fair view but going so far out on a limb to cover for Dubya. I think if Clark runs, we will see a whole new race, and maybe, just maybe, better media reporting.

about Labor Day. Labor Day was going to be his jumping off point. Still no Clark. I'm at the point where I will not believe it until I hear it from his own mouth.

Do you think it would have been appropriate for Clark to announce on the same day? I don't.

I'd love to see him jump in, but why all the drama? Get in already, shake it up. And yes Kerry DID announce after Labor Day, DID! Why the indecisiveness on their part? What then hell is there to think about, you're going to run or you're not? He's being seen as wish-washy in my opinion.
