Editorial: Speculating on Dean/Clark ticket
Edited on Fri Sep-19-03 11:45 AM by Girlfriday
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette this morning speculating that we might see a Dean/Clark ticket.

< snip>

General Clark's candidacy raises some interesting questions. There is some political logic in the idea that - assuming the two can be brought together - a combination of former Gov. Howard Dean, the current apparent front-runner for president, and General Clark for vice president would serve the Democrats as a very solid ticket, giving President Bush and Vice President Cheney a major run for their money in 2004.

Sounds familiar

1. So soon?
There hasn't even been a primary or caucus. Newspapers are already speculating on the Dem ticket?

2. Just speculation...
...but I think it mirrors what alot of posters have been saying; that it would be a dynamite ticket. BTW, in another article this morning it was reported that Clark has no problem with being number two. I took that as a hint of what was to come.
