Did anyone honestly think this story was going to get any kind of traction or coverage outside of the frothing keyboards of DU and liberal blogdom? Most average people don't even know who the hell Karl Rove is. I know a guy who rabidly hates shrub who had no idea who Rove was until I told him.

Yes, it should be the top story but if people are still so naive after all these hopes and subsequent dissapointments, then I'm sorry I'm just not sure how many times it's going to take for people to learn. Our angry e-mails to news stations may make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside but if anyone still thinks after all this time that it makes a difference and that the media can be expected to discern right from wrong and scandal from non-story then....well I'm not sure what I can say that's going to change your mind.
