Shrub didn't fall into anything. That makes it sound like an accident, that he had no ill intent. In reality, he tied the whole damn country and a not insignificant part of the rest of the world to a screaming freight train and then cut the tether after enough momentum had be achieved to throw the whole business straight into this so-called trap.
