Karl Rove, President Bush's deputy chief of staff and senior political advisor, is a kingmaker.

While he's the man who makes the men who shape our world, aside from a few brief moments in the sun, he sticks to the shadows.

This week, however, he was implicated in the ongoing investigation of a 2003 leak in which the secret identity of a CIA operative was disclosed. Such a disclosure, if an operative's identity was knowingly revealed, is a felony.

So Bush needs to make good on his promise. No matter whether Rove has broken the law, the disrespectful, callous slime ball needs to be shown the door.
