Colorado's U.S. attorney, Bill Leone, says he can't prove that a White House staff volunteer impersonated a Secret Service agent when he removed three Denver residents from a presidential Social Security forum in March.
...snip...
"Criminal law is not an appropriate tool to resolve this dispute," Leone said in a statement Friday. "The normal give and take of the political system is the appropriate venue for a resolution."
Fair enough. I want my money back.
The Bush administration claims the Social Security forum held in Denver on March 21 was an "official White House event." That means it was not supposed to be a partisan political rally. That's why taxpayers had to pay for it.
Given the U.S. attorney's take, I'm trying to calculate my refund.
