FRIDAY, Oct. 2 (UPI) Caligon, Ore./Orefornia, Calif. - If Arnold Schwarznegger wins the California gubernatorial election, construction company owner and lifelong Democrat Joe Durchweg doesn't intend to sit idly by. He has a plan.
Durchweg's plan calls for heavy equipment operators in Oregon, Nevada, and Mexico to come together and start digging along the California state border "east from the ocean, then south down to Mexico until we can just push the whole place into the Pacific Ocean, like we shoulda done a long time ago."
According to Durchweg, he has made contact with seval dozens of thousands of equipment operators - "backhoes, bulldozers, dumps, you name it" who stand ready to roll the minute the recall vote is announced.
"We'll give ol' Ah-nold a recall he'll never forget", says Durchweg. "And he WON'T be back any time soon".
When asked if part of his aim in undertaking this project was to bring ocean front property to Soutern Oregon, Durchweg said, "Damn! I never thought of that! Now this is an even BETTER idea!"
