Just curious: If Howard Zinn's assessment about thugs in suits has substantial validity, what does it make those in the Congress, the military, the media, and the citizenry who support this Administration and its polices and actions?

A People's History of the United States is an awesome read, I would love to audit one of his classes.

6. And THAT'S exactly what's wrong with this place...
due to 25 years of RW corporate money and influence on media and politics, the "center" has moved so far to the right, that Chomsky & Zinn can be treated as radical, while Dobson, Frist, et al are "mainstream"? The insanity!

8. It's been OTHER countries reporting on U.S. - especially since
the terrible reign of bush--thus, the rise of the net and blogsphere-paper ciculation is down, gee, wonder why?
