This opinion piece from Phoenix is one of the worst abuses of logic I've ever read. The causal fallacies alone are simply mindboggling.

Based on U.S. Census statistics, whites will become a minority in this country by 2050. In Texas, California, and New Mexico, Latinos have already surpassed whites as the majority population. Illegal immigration is effectively turning the American Southwest into a Mexican colony.

When the U.S. becomes dominated by blacks and Latinos, our country as we know it--will cease to exist. Crime, drug/alcohol abuse, and illegitimate births will cripple this nation. We will no longer have a tax-base on which to depend. Every product sold in this country will be imported from Asia. Our economy will be comprised of nothing but low-paying service jobs.

The blame for this current and future state of affairs can be placed squarely upon the shoulders of the 'great American liberal'. President Lyndon Johnson and his 'Great Society' programs have helped to send a large segment of this country into a permanent welfare state. Those same programs helped to destroy the black family, by rewarding people for not marrying while having more children than anyone could support. The same bleeding hearts that advocated so fervently for the integration of our once proud public school system were meanwhile--sending their children to lily-white private schools.

We are constantly bombarded by the liberal news media claiming that 'diversity is our strength', and attempts by black racists such as Cornell West and Jesse Jackson to shame white Americans and equate violence with meaningful protest.

I don't even think I'll bother. It's too stomach churning to address.

But, I will note I faced this same kind of bigoted crap the other day in a face to face situation that nearly had my head exploding. It was a customer service situation, so I could not speak my mind as freely as I desperately wanted to. It's infuriating I have to sit and listen to this garbage and can't effectively respond, which would usually include a "get the hell out" summation.

Anyway, this freeper type started bitching and moaning about how much she was paying for us to advertise on a Spanish language station. I had no idea what she was even talking about since I, as a non-Spanish speaker, never watch those two stations on the local cable. She explained, and so I explained that as a business that seeks to serve customers regardless of who they are or what language they speak, we cater to groups of people in whatever way is best suited. I then gave her an example of how our business caters to her particular needs. (The "special interest" I conjured in my head was batty old bitch, but I managed not to say that.)

She then went OFF, said I was the racist, our company was racist, that decent white people were being driven out ...

It just floored me. I've seen ample examples of bigotry of this variety, but none so blatant in my face, especially over such a ridiculous thing as advertising on a Spanish language television station.

got it to his table. Meanwhile a white guy with a desk job or no job profited more than the latino. This is a statistical fact in the U.S.

Latinos are doing the real work. White males are selling you worthless paper. Latinos build houses, grow food, pick food, lay pipe, stock your stores, clean up your communities and generally keep things moving in far higher statistical percentages than white people.

White people occupy government, banking, insurance, pharmaceutical and medical "billing and administration," and of course legal and criminal justice positions. The guys who double the cost of your medical care (while providing no actual service), billed you for it, sued you, cleaned you bank account, and hauled you off to jail after your check bounced. Those guys were white.

People driving around doing nothing in motor homes 365 days a year while somebody else works for their keep; all white.

Looks to me like the nation could do with a few less "white people."

I've said a lot of the same stuff myself.

I don't like to generalize, but from my daily perspective, I find it difficult not to do so. White people, especially wealthy white males, give me more trouble than most other groups. Latinos, in particular recent Mexican immigrants, the least. The latter pay their bills on time if at all possible, don't over spend or acquire goods and services they know they can't afford, are polite to a fault, and try very hard to communicate with me when a language barrier becomes apparent. (This has moved me to start learning Spanish a little better than I do, but I can't carry on a conversation just yet.)

12. As A White Woman With Latino Children

I resent this sort of pap. My kids' father came from third generation American and American Indian (Yaqui). Their people were here in this country before mine were (Englsh/German-Russian from Odessa RU). But what does it matter when they came here? Except to say that our history is intertwined and we are all in this world together.

I heard this morning that African Americans will also become the majority in some states such as Mississippi. I am glad. Already African American leadership is better than white leadership in this country because they seem to be the only ones asking the hard questions and demanding the truth ~ with the exception of a few whites like Barabra Boxer, but she is a woman, of course. As I have said many times the Black Caucus represents me far better than a bunch of tutu-ed lily livered Replican lites.

My kids are often treated as if they just came over the border by the schools, on the job, and wherever they go, when they cannot even speak Spanish. I am just tired of it because my people are good people, their father's people are good people and what the freaking hell does it matter what color we are? WE ARE All PEOPLE! These people need to get a grip. Sheesh!
