The Crawford Bunker ---- Read; you'll feel saner.
http://www.americanpolitics.com/20050816Bisbort.html

"I think it is now safe to say that no American president has ever been as small a human being as George W. Bush. Historians can, and will, chew over his nearly seamless series of failures and poor decisions and right-wing pandering for many years. But psychologists and humanists will simply nod their heads in dismay and wonder how this great nation could have been, for eight years, under the thumb of such a lost soul, such a lout. What must life be like under his skin? What happened to this man's conscience, his heart, his mind? It must be horrible to be so distant from real emotion and feelings, to be so cluelessly mean-spirited."

This is a really excellent article. Worth a read!

6. When all this truth comes out
about this worse than zero of a person there will hopefully be hell to pay in his party. Those that have played his game, from those who tie his shoes to his so called advisers will be hard pressed to use bush as a recommendation for their next job. When will the impeachment begin? Each day we are in danger of more destruction to say nothing of countries such as Iran, Korea, etc., mostly the muslin countries. Robert Parry of consortium news says the only hope is impeachment. Need to hear more in the media discussing the only way out of our predicament is "impeachment."

7. Sadly...
those who worked for Nixon don't seem to have experienced serious unemployment. The wingnut true believers will never see the light.

8. I sent this article to my whole mailing list...
...with the following introductory comment:

This is a great read with a lot of insight. My mind is boggled by the knowledge that there are Americans who feel that the oath-breaking Cretin of Crawford still deserves some kind of personal loyalty -- as though he were somehow greater than the Office, the People, and the Constitution he shamelessly shits on.

Return comments should be interesting. The part about "personal loyalty" is directed at one person in particular, who responded indignantly the other day, when I sent this article: http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_7218.shtml

11. what happened to georgie? Poppy CIA shadowman and ball
busting, perpetually angry, elitist 'Bar' - Momma Pierce-Bush
after they worked over W's already questionable character, skull & bones took over...then there is the man's personality: entitled, spoiled (and berated/belittled by Poppy)brat, accountable to no one, no earned work/recognition/respect and a perfect stooge for the puppet&paymasters. bush is a shell, a hollow boyman-when his reign of terror is over (and it will) he will shine as having earned recognition as one of the most outstanding and ruthless sociopaths in modern history.

15. yes, but at the end of the move 'Downfall'
Most of the leaders committed suicide.....but only after the nation had been destroyed. Does this nation have to be destroyed before there is accountability on the part of the leadership?

16. Nominated-Need More Everyone should see this
From a fellow DUer:

there are no depths too low for these people to sink to. There is no atrocity too horrible for them to commit. These are people who value power, and money. Period.

Anything you can think of, any act you can imagine, they are capable of. If this were not true, we would not now be causing the deaths, and horrific injuries, that are being suffered in Iraq, on both sides.

We are not dealing with normal, sane, humans now...we are dealing with sociopaths with positions of power, who will wield that power to seize anything they can, simply because they can. Never, ever, for even a moment, underestimate their capacity for evil.

If Bush were not the son of a wealthy, powerful man, he would be a wino living in a cardboard box under a freeway someplace. If Rumsfeld were not in his position, he would be babbling, between doses of powerful anti-psychotic drugs, in a state runned mental facility somewhere.

The sad truth is that this country has been overtaken by sociopaths. men who have the positions, and the money, to live out their lunatic fantasies, and bring this once great country to oblivion.

17. He is indeed a very little man.
"It was inexcusable, then, when Bush told reporters the next day that he would not meet with Cindy Sheehan because "It's important for me to go on with my life." This little man, who is incapable of even faking humility, compassion, or self-doubt, who has pathologically dodged responsibility for his actions all of his life, then said, "I think the people want the president to be in a position to make good, crisp decisions and to stay healthy, and part of my being is to be outside exercising."

For once in his life someone is holding him accountable. He cannot respond. His mind is too sick.

18. The Forces that put him there have gambled with an ALL IN MOVE
Now, the cards play out and it don't look so good....a weak hand loses to the TRUTH....

Bush looks weak, hurt, bewidered, confused, sick, enemic, and bothered. He should be in bed under more meds.

19. Well-worth reading the entire article...but this is still the best line:
"I think it is now safe to say that no American president has ever been as small a human being as George W. Bush."

Too bad it's too long for a bumper sticker.

"You know, here we were, all of us doomed, I thought -- the whole country doomed -- and here, in what he was dictating to me there was not one word of compassion or regret, only awful, awful anger. I remember thinking, ‘My God, he hasn't learned anything. It's all just the same.'"

They are convinced of their righteousness and they are suffer from the same blindness that Hitler and his followers did.

23. I agree. They are angry. And if they can't take it out on their liberal
"enemies" here, they will take it out on brown skinned "enemies" in the middle east.

What is it that causes such blind rage and hate that makes them kill and destroy?

24. This All Fits Into A Frank Luntz Focus Group Dream
When you look back over the last few weeks, you've seen Frank Luntz's fingerprints on :

(A) Renaming the Bufoon's War On Terror to a Struggle

(B) Renaming Bush's Hideout in Texas to the "Prarie Chapel Ranch"

(C) http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Bush_Job_Approval.htm The Bufoon's Poll Numbers Tank so he can claim in the future that more people agree with him every week.

(D) More soldiers from the 82nd Airborne are going to Iraq because the situation is improving and the "insugency" is in it's "last throes"

.

It's going to be a good week for Frank Luntz
