Star Ledger RW Columnist: "Rush Is A Liberal"
Sorry this is not on-line yet so you can link to it....but anyone who can should get hold of the Newark Star Ledger for Friday, October 3....where right wing loony columnist Paul Mulshine aCTUSLLY makes the case that Rush Limbaugh is actually a LIBERAL.

Too too funny.

9. I have some family that think BUSH is a liberal
Edited on Sat Oct-04-03 12:33 PM by leftyandproud
believe it or not...I have a few libertarian whackos in my family...My little sister voted for him, but claims he has been unbelievably liberal on economic policy, compromising too much (she cited his tiny medicare drug plan...WTF?) Bush managed to piss off the far, FAR right on certain things it seems.

When you think you know pure insanity, life throws you a curveball. Bush isn't as bad as it COULD be under a right wing libertarian government.

10. I've often said
the difference between a libertarian and a run of the mill right wing nut is that the libertarian owns a modem.

Rigth wing nuts hate black people. Libertarian have a long winded "objective" rationale to explain why they hate black people.

2. I have long felt that...
Mulshine has some form of organic brain dysfunction. I do believe that this confirms it.

Just a petty, bitter, angry and deluded little man, who thinks that he softens his image by saying he loves Brooooooooce. As if.

4. That column was silly but I hate to admit about Mulshine...
That despite agreeing with him 98% of the time, that I do enjoy his writing and his small semblance of wit. He's an example of a conservative who I can at least respect even if I vehemently disagree with what he is saying.

He has written columns about typically anti-conservative subjects and positions that have surprised me.

Flame away if you must.

7. Wouldn't it be great if Rush did a complete 360 like Arianna
Edited on Sat Oct-04-03 09:00 AM by janekat
that would REALLY make those right wingers go "nutso." First, he has a complete breakdown after all of his followers trun on him for being a liberal. Then, he'll realize that his whole life is a "sham." He'll come out and endorse Kuchinich. Half of the "dittoheads" who think he's God would run out to vote for Kuchinich and the other half would turn on him.

He's actually a very effective propagandist. It would be great to either "neutralize" him or have him "convert" to Liberalism.

12. Local right-wing talk radio team are delighted that Rush
was busted. They think he's a liberal because he supported NAFTA and GATT.

They've started introducing the news as "oxycontin-free" and "non-lotrimen". They also called him "fatboy". One of the two also dislikes Bush, too, because of his support of international trade. There are as many flavors of right-wingnuts as there are of us on the left.
