I just can't help marvel at the ability of the press to get bogged down in detail. If you want to rate Bush on antiterrorism, the case is simple. Since he became president, there have been two major terrorist attacks on the US.

The other terrorist attack, the one no one talks about anymore, is the anthrax attack. Someone out there has apparently committed the perfect crime. As far as the press and Bush administration are concerned, it's the attack that never happened. But once again, the bottom line is that the perpetrator of the "other" terrorist act is still out there and still capable of similar acts.

The simple, incontrovertible fact is this: in the only score that counts, it's Terrorists - 2, Bush - 0.

... MIHOP refers to THOSE attacks, and not 9-11.

Think about the targets: Media, Democratic Congresspersons.

Think about the results: Panic and paranoia just when we're ramping up for war (and voting on the PATRIOT Act).

Whay WOULD they pursue the perpetrator of the anthrax attack? Maybe it was the same person/group responsible for forging the Niger documents?

Tell them that Clinton protected US soil for almost 8 years (from a month after he took office when the first WTC bombing took place and bascially come from ineffectiveness from Poppy's admin).

And then add that so far dubya has only protected us less than 4 years and SPENT TONS OF MONEY on Homeland Security and TSA and we are NOT SAFER.

He couldn't find his ass with both hands let alone a terrorist in the United States. It is sad that the anthrax case fell off the face of the earth, next will be the Karl Marx Rove. Just swept under the carpet! :kick:
