'Sorry' Arnie prepares to tough it out
Edited on Mon Oct-06-03 12:47 PM by Skinner
Another Arnie story .. this one predicts he's won (already) .. but gives insight into the Arnie machine (did he ever play a robot?) .. I found it humorous at times.

'Sorry' Arnie prepares to tough it out
JACQUI GODDARD IN MIAMI

HE STANDS accused of racially abusing a black colleague, sexually harassing women and praising Hitler’s rise to power - but in two days’ time, former bodybuilder and Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger looks set to be flexing his political muscle as Governor of California.

Many a politician may have struggled to stay buoyant amid the last-minute torrent of scandal. Republican Schwarzenegger, it seems, is shooting the rapids - though he may yet need a life-vest.

So far the mud has not stuck to the 56-year-old, who if he becomes governor will be running not only America’s most populous state, but also the world’s 10th largest economy.

>>> comment: 10th in the World!

"They’re serious, of course, but I don’t see these scandals as being killer blows," predicted Professor David Schecter, a political scientist at California State University, Fresno. "I think the election is a done deal, it’s already over."

1. How does
he plan to get all this done with a Democratic congress. I hope someone has the balls to keep the possibly criminal elements going even if he is elected. Will Dems become Arnold Lite in the congress there?
