1. When I see my son at Ft Hood, I want to try to
explain to him what he is going to Iraq for. So that Islam can be the law there and women will lose all rights whatsoever. I want him to know just what is happening there and what he is really fighting for. I will also tell him to look for himself once he gets there and see the truth, not what his superiors tell him, but what he feels in his heart.

It burns me up my Son might die for this cause, every Mother in this country needs to know about the law in Iraq and how women will lose every freaking right they ever had. That is not democracy....

I almost feel like kidnapping him, I do feel helpless.

2. The real reason why BUSH (as opposed to the sane people in the US)
...are supporting this war is for OIL. Poppy (out of the loop, yeah, right) and his pals (Ollie North, Scowcroft, et. al.) have dealt with Ayatullahs with some success before, and the successor crew thinks they have their number. Truth be told, even Israel has backdoor relations with Iran, while at the same time claiming they are the devil themselves. Then, there is our fun relationship, on again, off again, going back to FDR, with the Kurds. Surely they will ignore the number of times we have abandoned them because most recently we've been good to them, more or less?? Or at least they are betting on that, I suspect.

They figure they will be able to cut a deal with those folks, who, the way things are shaking out, will have the regions that are oil-rich, and fuck the minority Sunnis, who have sucked too long, in their opinion, at the teat of plenty.

It's all about denial--if they can just keep pumping the oil, they don't have to worry about silly little things like the environment, future supplies, global warming....get the oil, get the money, and screw everyone else. It's Scarlett O'Hara thinking: I'll worry about THAT tomorrow!

4. We need to bring up The Carlyle Group and CACI
and any other private firms that the military is using for Security guards, interpreters, etc. See who profits. Poppy was CEO of Carlyle till right before the war, but don't think he is out of stock, not way, hes got his stock, just out of the picture.

I have always said Poppy is #1 then Cheney and Rumsfield, and then all the others from the Reagan/Bush years. Then there comes the good ole boy George, who now takes the flack from the doings of all these men. This has been a concentrated effort since the Reagan years when Reagan was out of it and Poppy was running the country. It has been years and years in the planning and promoting and carrying out of this Iraqi war.

I hear they are building a base the size of Sacramento? Is that true, anyone know exactly how many bases being built? That is where the money is going.

6. To Steal The Wealth While Brothers Fight, Of Course!
The US is a robber nation. The country that sent Marines to fight the pirates of Tripoli has now changed sides and protects the pirates of Enron, Halliburton, and Carlyle, to name a few.
