You obstinately fail to recognize that contrary to your assertion, the country is actually more progressive than you want to admit. More people believe in being pro-choice, keeping religion out of politics, cancelling the permanent tax cut to the richest in our midst, thinking that the Iraq War was the wrong thing to do (now they've been given some of the information which was freely available on the web), and knowing that George Bush is on completely the wrong track on every count which moderate Americans deem important such as Social Security, Medicare and universal health insurance.
You also conveniently fail to own up to the fact that Gore did actually win the 2000 election when all the votes were actually counted, and that many of us out here believe that the republicans in Ohio successfully disenfranchised thousands and stole another election.
Maybe on your death bed you will come to see the error of your ways, but I'm not holding my breath. There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.
