Excellent piece, describing the way the Coward finally decuded Brownie had to go. Fucking White House, and Chernoff had no idea what was going on in NO.

on edit:

(snip)

One prominent African-American supporter of Mr. Bush who is close to Karl Rove, the White House political chief, said the president did not go into the heart of New Orleans and meet with black victims on his first trip there, last Friday, because he knew that White House officials were "scared to death" of the reaction.

"If I'm Karl, do I want the visual of black people hollering at the president as if we're living in Rwanda?" said the supporter, who spoke only anonymously because he did not want to antagonize Mr. Rove.

(snip)

Wonder who the "prominent African-American supporter of Mr. Bush who is close to Karl Rove" is. He/she is more comcerned about the "visual" than he is with the Coward seeing what's really happening to his brothers and sisters. Typical bushite.

2. Condi knows
the real blacks want nothing to do with W. Even Powell is stressing that agenda.

3. some of this reads like BS
the part about bush supposedly getting exasperated about being out of the loop concerning convention center conditions? Yeah right. And just who is that African-American friend of Rove - please. Even his quote about Rwanda sounds bogus.

4. Bush would only be "exasperated" if his golf game were
interupted. Does sound planted like a little petunia right out in the weed patch.

5. I agree
The quote about Rowanda sounds like an out-of-touch middle-aged white guy talking.

6. Well, I can say one good thing about Trent Lott: he does at least
seem to care about the people in his state, unlike that asshole governor barbour.
