2. And seemingly no one can give a good or honest answer.
I don't believe there was ever a "noble cause" for the invasion of Iraq. But no one seems to want to admit to that for fear of hurting the feelings and emotions of those who lost loved ones to the "war" in Iraq. Well, i say there can or should be no equal to the hurt or emotional trauma of losing a child, a spouse, or parent at any time but to lose those beloved in an rank, illegal, unnecessary invasion and occupation of a sovereign nation that had never posed a threat to the US is the very height of misery and there was no "noble cause" for such losses.
