He made some points that I think were right on the mark. What makes it worse is that they seem clueless about what to do about it. When a labor union divorces itself from the democrats you know that is a sign on trouble. And regards to the war in Iraq, how is it that they could be fooled so easily? Didn't they have access to information that the we would not have?
A good friend of mine who describes himself as a "democratic libertarian" (go figure) says to me repeatedly that we should ditch this party and start a new one.

One would think that the Dems would capitalizing on repub troubles left and right, but clearly they are not. Maybe some DUers are correct, the Democratic party needs to rebuilt from the bottom up.

are dismayed that voters are actually looking at what they do and won't let them just act like Republicans without the religious nuts.

We are mad at the "wrong" things in their minds. We don't understand why it's so important to continue the war with Dems in charge instead of the GOP (changing the party of the President did so much to change the course of Vietnam didn't it?)
