A short list of accomplishments for George W. Bush and his junta during their three years in power:
1) They have not improved the economy for salaried employees making less than $150,000 per year. They have taken billions out of the federal budget and put it back into corporate profits and subsidies for steel, agriculture, and other mega-buck industries with votes for sale.
2) Tried to pick a war with Cuba to please those necessary voters in Jeb Bush's Florida. Even George II can remember that Florida was important in the last election. The recent formation of a transition team for post-Castro Cuba shows a lot more forward planning than was done for our invasion and occupation of Iraq. Will there be a Guantanamo incident to justify sending the U.S. National Guard into Cuba? That's a sure win in Florida. We wouldn't need a Coalition of the Willing. We could just invoke the Monroe Doctrine as we did in Grenada, Panama, etc. etc.
3) The U.S. has apparently not found Ossama Bin Laden.
4) Ditto Mullah Omar.
5) Ditto Saddam Hussein. But expect him to be found during the '04 campaign.
6) They can't even find their own folks who leaked the female CIA agent's name to the press.
