1. Most agree funding for military troops is mandatory????

I don't. I believe that the troops should get full pay, allowances and benefits right here in the states where they belong. Their job is standing ready for a real national security threat, not a colonial adventure to drain the treasury and ruin our government to satisfy private corporate interests. I would only fund enough money to pull all of the troops out of Iraq within thirty days.

Incidentally, the set off in military retirements for disability pay is a phony issue. It is double dipping. What about all the non retiree veterans who can't get their disability pay period because of the stonewalling by Principi and the other nazis running the VA?
