As the Democratic Party loses its soul, it loses its voice

thoughts on this? I agree with the article. I think that instead of coming out with new ideas the establishment is recycling the same old plans and modifying Republican ideas rather than acting as a functioning opposition. I am not saying ALL Democrats are doing this but a majority.

3. Me too, zidzi
:hi:

I feel that with Dean a part of our soul has been found. I do not agree 100% with his views, but he has the fire in the belly and the outrage of how this country has gotten off track. He does not back down under the fierce attacks that come his way every day.

8. MoonAndSun, I've tried to answer this Twice and the high winds keep
blowing the electricity out in my home!

I don't agree with Dean 100%, either, but I believe he is a Real person who learns from his mistakes and after more than two years of the Dems rolling over for bush I and it turns out many others were ready for Dean! There, I got it said! :)

:hi:

2. Interesting -- the Busheviks have used Nazi-style propaganda strategy
to generate these "win-win" situations.

Of course it's easy when you have $200,000,000 in Scaife money and probably a billion more from Coors, Olin, and others in the Confederate Broederbund (not to emntion all that lucrative CIA Bushevik Drug Money), to create a Totalitarian Sub-Media while parasitizing and rendering useless (except as Bushevik Megaphone) that which we call Corporate TV Pravda (the wretched remnants of our once-freee, once-proud Press).

The Democrats never knew what hit them, and played along and played along to the tune of this Orwellian Fantasy Bubble that was designed to be a self-fufilling prophecy from the very first.

This article makes good points. But I maintain that the Democratic collapse could not have come about with the creation of this Goebbels v2.0, which indeed was and is a work of evil genius unparalleled in the annals of human history.

4. This isn't really even a call to the far Left
many Democrats have abandoned working people on issues like energy privatization. Most voters aren't wildly in favor of privatization yet the Democrats approved it to gain favor with corporations. Most Americans don't want monopolies but many Dems roll over and allowed them to form. This isn't really a question of going to the far Left but a question of having a basic platform different from the GOP in my opinion.

6. Ridiculous
I hope you are joking. The answer is they sold out. If someone killed 250 members of congress I think people would notice lol.

11. They won't have to kill 250...just a couple
Just a couple, like two men running for Senate in battleground states trending Bushevik ("if only we could get rid of these pesky incumbents we could speed the process along") two years apart almost to the day.

And maybe some anthrax delivered to the most powerful remaining Democratic Senators just to let them know where they stand.

Remember that this is, even now, Amerika and NOT GErmany.

We are much less directly violent than they. Therefore, such direct tactics might wake the Serfs up.

Mustn't do that.
