I posted this yesterday in the Late Breaking News forum, despite a decision I made some time ago to stop posting on this site, because I thought it was really important. But the moderator of that site, Doofus, or something like that, locked the thread and, I guess, deleted it after calling it an "op ed" piece.
To me, it was a lot more than that. A senior United States Senator, brother of a former president, stands on the senate floor and says that the administration of a sitting president has told "lie after lie after lie after lie." This is, to my way of thinking, an historical event.
My question was, will these remarks appear on the evening television news, and, of course, to my knowledge, they did not.
But if those who run this forum think this is just an "op ed piece" and not a major yet unreported news event, so be it. I will put it here for the benefit of who may be interested.
