I was reading his piece in my local paper today and he was dissing (I am embarrassed not to remember his name) the guy in charge of Iraq who was talking about the war as religious because he apoligized for his remarks. Now, I think thta Thomas talks for the religious right and I was wondering if others are as concerned as I because a war based on a holy crusade (as Thomas was talking about this one) is more dangereous than one based on oil. Because shrub does sit at the feet of the religious right, will he start basing foreign policy on religious principals? Scary!

7. the religious right and the muslim fundies and the settlers

on the west bank are all a threat to polite society and they are all trying to drag the rest of us into their stupid war. Lieberman got booed because Lieberman is a hypocrite who actually panders to the religious right and supports the settlers and Cal Thomas knows it. IN fact there were criticisms of the Matahair in the muslim and western worlds and Cal Thomas knows that too.
