The chairman of the Senate Armed Services, Sen. John Warner, R-Va., and his top Democratic colleague wrote a private letter to the defense secretary to express concerns about anti-Muslim remarks by a top officer. Not getting any response, Warner made the letter public. Still, Donald Rumsfeld told reporters, "It may be somewhere around the building. I'm not aware of it."
