Pretty good read. Defines a weakness that should be exploited by any/all of the candidates.

Also refutes the myth of the all-GOP military. The officer corps may be predominately GOP, but the enlisted side of the house is split along national lines. And there are a helluva lot more of them.

The reservists may be the keystone. And the internet is having a big impact; one that may more than compensate for the no-photos-of-caskets rule.

But I agree the rank and file of the military are turning against this admin....and looking more closely at bush* military record because of their horror!!! GOOD FOR THEM!!! :bounce:

Remember folks, the military have a stated role of enforcing government policy, but I have noted that they have an insidious role of creating policy. They forge the alliances, do intelligence work, and lead us into battle. Look at what happened when General Colin Powell became *bush's Secretary of State: he reversed his conservative policy and led an attack on Iraq.
