A new book by Austin-based journalist James Moore and senior Dallas Morning News political reporter Wayne Slater will report Tuesday that Karl Rove's step-father, Louis Rove, divorced his mother and lived the rest of his adult life as an openly gay man, RAW STORY has learned.

This is one of many bombshells delivered by reporters James Moore and Wayne Slater in The Architect: Karl Rove and the Master Plan for Absolute Power. RAW STORY obtained an advance copy of the book.

The book also alleges that Rove held streetcorner meetings with fallen superlobbyist Jack Abramoff, knowing that all visits and phones calls to the White House were logged. Abramoff recently pleaded guilty to tax fraud and conspiring to bribe members of Congress.

I think him being gay is a big part of his whole act. Judging by his actions, Rove is most likely a closet gay, but uses his intimate knowledge of gay issues to help the republican party, the same way some Jews were used by the Nazi's to identify other Jews who were in hiding. I think it is most likely Rove who infiltrated Gannon into the W.H. press corp. How did he know Gannon? My guess is that he frequented Gannon’s other services, or knows someone who did. Wasn’t it Rove who met with the Log Cabin Republicans before the last election?

Since the early 90's at least, Rove has prominently used homosexuality in one election after another. Why the emphasis on gay issues unless it's something he familiar with? If he were in with the christian fundamentalists, I might accept his repeated scapegoating as a moral crusade, but he's not. So, the most likely other answer is that he's gay himself, but is a total self serving hypocrite. As long has he gets a hunk every now and then, the hell with everybody else.

Of course another possibility is that his step daddy would sneak into his room at night for some special political indoctrination. That could explain a hatred of gays and his apparent multiple personality disorder. But personally, I think he’s queer as a three headed goat. Not that there’s anything wrong with three headed goats, or queers; just hypocrites.

12. Geez. Sort of reminds me of the character Scott Pritchard played

by Will Patton in No Way Out, who adored his boss, the Defense Secretary, played by Gene Hackman. Pritchard was quietly gay, but Hackman had a secret mistress.

But W is no "Hackman" and Rove isn't remotely as sexy as Will Patton.
