President Bush is trying to rally public support for his Iraq policy by quoting Osama bin Laden, who said al Qaeda can cause the US economy to collapse by implementing a “bleed-until-bankruptcy plan.” It is ironic that this president’s war of choice in Iraq – which is costing more than a billion dollars a week and fueling anti-American rage in the Islamic world – fits right into bin Laden’s plan.
