Presidential Doodles/book - JFK & his 9-11 doodle
excerpt: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/nation/4198198.html

"Just as our dreams and little Freudian slips can mean something about us, doodles can be indicative of the person and issues and things that he is dealing with," says Cabinet editor-in-chief Sina Najafi.

Personalities emerge at a glance: John Adams' hard, straight lines and precise geometrical patterns; Theodore Roosevelt's rugged sketch of two dogs staring across a campfire; Dwight Eisenhower's plain, practical illustrations; Ronald Reagan's childlike portraits, including of himself in a cowboy hat.

President Kennedy, known for separating his life into compartments, would enclose words and numbers inside circles and boxes. Events long after his death give one doodle an unintended chill: A small circle with the numbers "9-11" contained within. Just to the lower left on the page, the word "conspiracy" is underlined.

3. there are some fascinating examples in the Sept. Atlantic Monthly
I have to admit that I burst out laughing when I saw Bush's dad's doodle (lacking either creativity or technical skill).

And a friend of mine, an organizer for the Dems, was horrified that Reagan shared her habit of drawing horses during seminars (we would classify how boring a talk was by how many horses she managed to do -- no idea if Ronnie did that as well!).

4. I just got busted by my boss for doodling during meetings.
It means the end of my "Portraits of Meeting Attendees, Sleeping" series (PMAS), so it's a good thing I'll never be famous. Here's hoping he doesn't ban my highly acclaimed "Portraits of Cubicle Workers, Sleeping" (PCWS) series also - what will I do between 6AM and 5PM?

I did a search and saw the thumbnamil. But it looks like they took the pictures down, probably as a response to this article, whcih pointed out the 911 drawing

911 conspiracists allege that there were plans for a 911-like attack stemming in the Kennedy Administration. This almost overlaps with those conspiracy theories. It's either just a really big coincidence, or 911 was an inside job(you don't know how silly I feel saying that).
