recognized the threat of Osama bin Laden ... still looking ...

You'd think that Regnery would have picked up (if only it were true) on Ollie North's statement during the Iran Contra hearings that "Osama bin Laden" scared him, and that "Al Gore" squashed any attempt to eliminate ObL ... not even in "Under Fire", written in 1991 ... Gore isn't even really mentioned, either. No reference to ObL.
