NYTimes: Headline: Reagan movie: Not a Cable Hit/Article: "Home Run!"
Audiences did not exactly flock to the Showtime cable channel on Sunday night to check out the movie "The Reagans" to see what all the noise was about. While it was seen in roughly half a million homes, its audience was no larger than Showtime gets for its successful series "Queer as Folk" and "Soul Food."

Still it was the most-watched original film on Showtime in two years.

(Huh????)

(snip)

"I think it was a home run for us," Matt Blank, the Showtime chairman, said yesterday.

3. USA Today gave it a glowing review.
Interesting. I think there's a little remorse going on in some of the media outlets for hopping on the 'Reagan-bashing' bandwagon. Tempest in a teacup, really.

4. Thom Hartmann had an interesting take on it...
he thought the reason that Faux went after the movie was the bad light in which it portrayed Oliver North. Can't have one of their "stars" exposed for what he is, can we?

5. Typical LIBERAL MEDIA move - Praise Bush/Repukes in the
headline, give out real facts and details in the last few paragraphs.

Like the fact that Gore actually beat Bush in almost every recount scenario except the one Gore was pushing and the Repukes were resisting.
