I found very interesting results searching the net for news about Treasury Sec arrest.

When the report first appeared about Treasury Secretary Paulson being arrested in Germany, I looked at the internet and there were about two results. Was that Saturday evening? I just checked and there are plenty of url's with mention of it - I don't recognize any major source. Has anyone seen anything from AP, Reuters, etc?

Besides witnessing how this can spread on the internet, are we going to wake up to devestating news about George's debt and our short or long term destiny? Or will this be a dud? Or will this be a 'misunderstanding'? Or something else?

Interesting times - even the rumor of the arrest of a White House Cabinet member for something more involved than drunken driving is amazing to watch.

I hope the victims of this country can survive this White House - whether from the privitazation of our vote. the news over years of billions or trillions of missing money from the DOD and HUD, to this?

I had written an article here and at my site, www.informamerica.net on Bush Crime May Cause Collapse, and I truly believe if something is not done to cause these funds to help pay U.S. banking transactions it may cause the U.S. dollar to suddenly nosedive, but if these officials can compel the Bush Fed to play ball it may avert such a disaster, at least temporarily. I am not an economics expert, but you can use your common sense and see that if the U.S. dollar transactions are not honored and backed by something, at least a promissory Federal Reserve Note, then why would there be any further demand for a defunct dollar?

3. How can there be a news blackout of the Sec. of Treasury being arrested?

With all due respect to articbeacon and infoamerica, I see almost no other source picking this up. If this was legit, there ought to be people like Paul Krugman amplifying the shit out of this. It's a very bizarre story and I see that Clinton is being dragged into this as part of the conspiracy.

Not that I don't think there are seriously big time crimes happening in currency manipulation, but why wouldn't someone in the MSM be breaking this?

In absence of any escalation, but knowing we are in trouble and that Paulson has been in Germany for two weeks - and with nothing coming from Germany - perhaps they asked Germany for a parallel blackout?

We can all play the pieces.

Instead of knowing for sure, we have Cheney in too many images at the funeral - and in front of too many microphones. For me.

BTW, the Chief is pretty much RW politically, but he's done his homework on this story.
