The Self-Hate That Drives Republican Patrick McHenry
The Self-Hate That Drives Republican Patrick McHenry
A. Alexander, January 7th, 2007

In as much as today's extremist Republican Party is the antithesis of everything the Founding Fathers believed in and embodied, and, too, in as much as they forsake the will of the people in order to perform the bidding of big business; indeed, in as much as they are the McPolitical party in their McCorporate-controlled version of McAmerica, it seems in someway wholly appropriate that their post-election spokesman would be a pathetic little pug-like political thug by the name of Patrick McHenry. Surely, the irony can be lost on no one.

America has come full circle now: From Patrick Henry's impassioned plea - "Give me liberty or give me death," to Patrick McHenry's desire for some form of corporate-sponsored authoritarian dictatorship.

Patrick McHenry is, perhaps, today's extremist Republican Party's most fanatical member - he is a neo-authoritarian, neo-theocratic, neo-fascist, neo-conservative, and one major neo-threat to American democracy. He is a true believer; a purple Kool-Aid drinking ideologue who, beyond any doubt, would cherish the opportunity to imprison all that dared disagree with his sickeningly warped so-called world view. He is, therefore, one of Karl Rove's favorite pets. When people meet Patrick McHenry, they are meeting the future of the Republican Party.

McHenry hails from North Carolina's tenth district, and how proud they must be to have such a sad little troll representing their interests. It only requires one look to know all that there is to know about Patrick McHenry: He is the typical gay-hating, self-loathing, homosexual-desire-repressing, weekend male prostitute humping, and crank tweaking contemporary Republican Party member. McHenry, being a Republican, would never admit to his latent homosexual desires, but his anger and hate, like Hitler and Karl Rove's, is so violently intense that it can only be the bastard child of sexual self-loathing. And, how Patrick McHenry does hate!

1. I'm so sickened of these perverse characters.
I'm gay. I have no tolerance for these creepy closeted fascist-enablers. It's perverted beyond belief.

That said, the question of lurking, closeted homosexuals in the highest reaches of the GOP is a potent political issue in the hands of the Democratic Party, and should be used in 2008 in whatever way will lead to the defeat of the rightists. Gay men and lesbians should not be sqeamish about that at all. Hypocrisy must be defeated.
