Buck Farleigh got his letter in the paper
Reader Sleeps Better With GOP White House

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid did not waste anytime airing their military opinions regarding the current situation in Iraq.

The mess in Iraq is for President Bush and our military leaders to clean up. We do not need politically biased rhetoric coming from politicians who want to stick it to Bush for political gain when we have troops in harm's way.

Thank God the Democrats were not in the White House when 9/11 exploded on New York City's Twin Towers with a terrible loss of innocent lives. All of our military must have our unified and unbiased support.

I shudder to think how long it would have taken to win WWII with our current politicians in government.

Regardless of what the biased TV talking heads are saying, it is obvious to those of us with some common sense that the draft needs to be reinstated in order to increase the size of our active military. Buck Farleigh. short pump.

3. Okay so if the current politcians were needed to end WWII...
would that mean that it is still going on or does that mean that they couldn't end it because they are in this time period or did 9/11 explode on something?

5. "when 9/11 exploded on New York City's Twin Towers"
What an odd turn of phrase. I guess he thinks Saddam pushed a button and blew up his "9/11" weapon.

6. What a load of crap.
Though I too believe we need a draft (especially if this war in Iraq is as important as the bushes pretend it is).

"The mess in Iraq is for President Bush and our military leaders to clean up."

The mess is for the bushes to clean up? What the F***? They made the mess they made the mistakes that led us here and we are suppose to roll over and pretend they know what they are doing?

"We do not need politically biased rhetoric coming from politicians who want to stick it to Bush for political gain when we have troops in harm's way."

Well it never stopped the bushes from using our troops as backdrops to political campaigns. I guess it is just the Democratic politicians who shouldn't bother poor little crazy king george.

"All of our military must have our unified and unbiased support."

Don't question herr leader. Let the government alone so they can do important stuff like killing our sons and daughters so the industrial war machine can steal our tax dollars.

"I shudder to think how long it would have taken to win WWII with our current politicians in government."

Less you forget, it was the DEMOCRATIC party in power when we won WWII. If crazy king george had been in power, we would still be fighting WWII.

7. I gotta disagree with ole buck just a tad
- If democrats (Kerry or Gore or Clinton) had been in the white house on 11 Sep 2001, there would not have been a terrorist attack because they did not need a terrorist attack.
- And if there are as many by gawd patriotic bush loving conservatives as buck alludes too, why would we need the draft? Do by gawd patriotic republicans have to be forced to serve their country? Okay, unfair question and way too easy.
