If Bush can capture Osama bin Laden, track down Dick Cheney, then tell Americans he's dispatched a spaceship to the moon, he may not need to use those Diebold voting machines. 5. While I am happy he is caught...

I think that the capture of osama is more important. I am not sure whether this will deter the Iraqis from attacking us and may step there desire to have occupational forces to leave. But in any event, this does not change the why we went,WMDs, and the fact that he did not have any. But let us hope that the attacks and resentment come to an end.

Aren't you glad we captured this demon? After all, he gassed the Kurds! (Which, in and of itself is a hoot, since most Freepers don't give a rat's ass about anyone but themselves). Still we did not capture Saddam's real beard. It was fake.

The comment about gassing the Kurds however is incomplete !

It was done with US weapons and a US advisor directing the use of this special artillary on the ground at the time of the shelling.
