Cheney, Clarence Thomas, Bolton and Perle Applaud Endorsement of The Crusades
Famed Princeton Islamic scholar Bernard Lewis drew a standing ovation from a packed house of conservative luminaries Wednesday night in a lecture that described Muslim migration to Europe as an Islamic attack on the West and defended the Crusades as “a late, limited and successful imitation of the jihad” that spread Islam across much of the globe.

Lewis gave the nearly hour-long speech at the annual black-tie dinner of the American Enterprise Institute after receiving the group’s Irving Kristol Award. Among the attendees were Vice President Dick Cheney, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton and ex-Pentagon official Richard Perle. Notably absent was I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, convicted this week of perjury and obstruction of justice. At last year’s event, Libby, then under indictment, received considerable support from attendees.

The 90-year-old Lewis, seen by some as the intellectual godfather behind the administration’s decision to invade Iraq, warned in his lecture that the West — particularly Europe — was losing its fervor and conviction in the face of an epochal challenge from the Islamic world. The Islamic world, he said, was now attacking the West using two tactics: terrorism and migration. He listed ideological fervor and demography as two of the chief strengths that the Muslim world had in its favor in its face off against the West, but fell short of offering any prescriptions for what Europe should do to stem the flow of immigrants from North Africa, South Asia and the Middle East.

Lewis, author of “The Arabs in History” and “Islam and the West”, among many other books, also gave a ringing endorsement for the ill-fated Crusades, which spanned two centuries starting in 1095, when various European armies tried to regain the “Holy Land” for Christendom. –Neil King Jr.

1. There was more disgusting balls of protoplasm in that one room
at that one time than there ever ever ever should be. Ever.

What a bunch of thugs.

Islam didn't start out hating us. The honored Jews and Christians as 'people of the Book' (the Koran). We fucked that up.

2. Oh, please.
I'm just assuming you never heard of the "flaming sword of Islam"?

Islam was a latecomer to the big religions. Do you think those converts were voluntary? Because they saw the light of Allah?

No Muslim has the right to any of this holier than thou crap. They got their converts by the threat of death, just like the Christians did.

So much for "honoring" the Jews and Christians.

8. Consider the Crusades.
Then consider what conquering N. Africa, Spain, Afghanistan, Persia, most of the Middle East, part of the Balkans, and much of N. India was like. The scools and libraries that were raided from Spain to India, the villagers taken as slaves from Africa to Ukraine, the treasuries that were sacked, the land that could only be owned by Muslims, the humiliation imposed on non-Muslims, the ban on polytheism and the restriction of numerous trades only to Muslims. The effect the loss of resources and intercommunication had on Europe.

By 1000 AD the Muslims had finally suffered a setback: to wit, they hit a roadblock in Spain and France, had trouble proceeding up the Italian peninsula, and had to get around Byzantium. And they had serious internal divisions.

The Crusades were bungled; they were bloody. But so was Dresden--that doesn't mean we forget the rest of the European theatre and lament that we unjustly pushed the Germans out of France and Denmark, avoiding all mention of the Blitz.

4. Seems to me they are all over our nation - spread out - so that gives
us a clue as to their plan - it involes being spread out geographically, but possibly living close to each other in various cities? Now, what could that mean for their take over of us?

Should we stop giving and take back what we've given to charities run using Danny THomas?
Should we stop voting for and take back our votes for Ralph Nader?
Should we refuse to allow Queen Noor back to this country - connected through marriage and heritage?

(sarcasm)

AEI - front assn, get it done assn - for PNAC.

Don't be mistaken about who they are.

(not sarcasm)
