TimesSelect free for University types

What a deal. Stop reading Krugman in excerpts! Benefits include:

"Get exclusive online access to The Times's Op-Ed columnists - David Brooks, Maureen Dowd, Thomas L. Friedman, Bob Herbert, Nicholas D. Kristof, Paul Krugman and Frank Rich. Read features and analysis by select columnists from Business, New York/Region, Sports and the International Herald Tribune...

...Explore The Times archive dating back to 1851. Access 100 articles per month."

I know this information has been posted at least once on another forum on DU, but I thought it would help a few people on the Editorials & Other Articles forum.

4. So expensive that I didn't sign up.
But I qualify, barely.

Now, what must be annoying for the NYT are two practices at a fair number of universities. First, when you graduate, go on leave, or simply drop out, they don't zap your e-mail address into non-existence. Second, some colleges serve as ISPs for their alumni, giving alumni a nice .edu e-mail address.

(I wonder if community colleges do this ... if so, it might be cheaper in some states to take a CC class than to pay the NYT reg fees.)

Thanks - I'm a college student, but I hadn't heard about this!
