Like a drunk blowing his paycheck on booze, will Bush blow his $100B on Iran?

The other day when House minority leader John Boehner, with tears in his eyes, begged his colleagues to give Bush a 100-billion-dollar carte blanche, Boehner said, "I think at the top of our list is providing for the safety and security of the American people. That's at the top of our list."
Sorry, John. Your tears were in vain. Keeping America safe is not what George Bush has in mind for that money -- and neither is supporting our troops. If keeping America safe and supporting the troops was actually Congress's goal, they would have voted to have our troops home by the Fourth of July -- if not by Father's Day!
Is anybody in America who has seen Bush in action over the last seven years still naive enough to think for an instant that he is actually planning to use this new-found 100 billion dollars to "support the troops" in Iraq and/or "keep America safe" here at home? Can anybody in America still be that naive? Face it, guys. Iraq was last year's toy. Bush is no longer interested in playing with last year's toy. Bush wants to play with a new toy this year -- IRAN. And Congress has just handed Bush the money to buy this new toy -- with no strings attached.
"So, Jane," you might ask, "how can you be so sure of all this? How do you know for certain that Bush is going to spend all that money on attacking Iran? Wouldn't this be top secret information? Do you have a mole in the White House or something?" Don't I wish. I can hear it all now....
"Gee, Dick, those fools in Congress just gave me 100 billion dollars. Now we can go bomb Iran. I was all worried about how I was going to be able to afford it but now we're all good to go...." And so Bush gets his new toy. And all the rest of us just end up with a hangover and a stomach ache. But does Bush care? No. If there is anything we have learned about GWB over that last seven years, it's that he wants what he wants no matter what it will cost America in blood, sweat and tears -- and that he expects us to pay.
"Just look at Iraq," sobs Dubya. "It's broken. Do you honestly expect me to play with a broken-down toy?" Duh, yeah. That's what the freaking 100 billion dollars is for, you spoiled brat. To freaking FIX Iraq. Sorry, George, but you are gonna have to wait for freaking SANTA CLAUS to bring you Iran. Or maybe the tooth fairy....
