My LTTE on Bush, Guard an "awol" issue
I was pleased to have the Forum (generally a GOP leaning paper, but the opinion page editor is a fair minded old stle conservative and not a Neo-nderthal.

I lifted most of my facts from Conason's book, which I have out from the library. I"m going to buy several copies, and make sure people I know who can write first rate LTTE have all of that wonderful data in hand.

You were able to sketch the case against AWOL as well as correct the misinterpretation that Bush's critics on this issue are anti-military. Great that they afforded you the space to lay it out in such detail--one of the advantages of going after more local publications like this one. Kudos.
