Shirley Smith: When Did Illegal War and Invasions Become "Supporting" the Troops?

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
BuzzFlash,
We keep hearing this from the Democrats after they have allowed themselves to be bullied and blackmailed by the Bush GOP. They tell us that they fear retaliation from the GOP by accusing them of failing to support the troops. I've heard better stories from Mother Goose.
Who are they really afraid of? Most of the American people, the thinking ones, want our troops home. They understand today, that this war was illegal and a crime against humanity. So, these excuses are supposed to satisfy the public?
There is a difference between doing what is right because it is right, morally and Constitutionally right. That is what we have not seen from this Congress. If we had, Bush and his administration would have had to face investigations and impeachment processes by now. Sloppy blow jobs can get a person impeached, burning an American flag can get a person thrown into prison, but a Bush administration's killing over a million people attains reckless, bipartisan cooperation.
If the impeachment process had happened when the crimes were noted, the public would more than understand the laws that this illegal and criminal Bush GOP administration have stepped on, torn up, written off, and constantly ignored, because big guy media would have also not been able to ignore them.
We have not had a working, breathing responsible government, which is why the Democrats were voted into power. Even the election fraud committed by the Republican Party was not enough to stop the public. We've had a cruel and greedy Republican dictatorial fascist regime, and they are going to take advantage of their power until they are stopped. War against the world and the American people, and they are using the American people to do this.
No accountability for the highest debt, millions of dead and displaced, and the destruction of Afghanistan, Iraq, New Orleans, the Geneva Conventions, and our Constitution and Bill of Rights ... and the Bush GOP feels so confident that they are trumpeting an attack on Iran. This will be the straw that does break the camel's back in the Middle East, and blood will flow for generations to come.
