So the news is finally out about Junior's Most Excellent AWOL Adventures. Thanks for the "heads up" on that! And I must admit, I am overwhelmed by the sheer amount of front-page real estate devoted to exposing our fearless leader's failure to live up to even the smallest possible commitment one could make to military service. It's gratifying...it truly is...to see reporters from sea to shining sea digging deep into the White-House-approved press releases and finally reporting the truth to the American people.

Who says the free press in America is dead? Who says the mainstream media is just a wholly-owned subsidiary of George W. Bush & Cronies, Inc.? Who will be the first to step up to the plate and apologize for all those ugly things we have said about you in the alternative press? I guess you showed us a thing or two about investigative reporting, eh?

And the alternative press is so far ahead of these yahoos that call themselves reporters it isn't even funny. Indy papers have stories anywhere from 6 months to 3 years ahead of the mainstream. I picture them sitting behind their computers all proud of themselves and stuff when this stuff has been circulating for years. I am SOOOOOO sick of them coming out with a breaking story (like there were no WMD) as if it is something new that no one ever conceived of before.

So they finally started reporting something about three and more years too late (if you count his run for governor). Do you know how many passes they have given him and will continue to give him? Partnering corporations of the media will still partner with the right wing administration - they aren't going to change their agenda - they will only learn how to obfuscate more skillfully. If it weren't for Clark and their intention to assassinate Kerry, they wouldn't be reporting anything. Think of what they did when people tried to show that Gore had served. They assassinated his reputation and character. Those corporations haven't changed any spots and they are not about to abandon their partners. The media, military, ceo's, constitution changers, and preachers are still in lockstep.
