It is acting with unacceptable political selectivity and moral ambivalence against which all Third World people should now begin to wake up.
Though supportable, a call to arrest and charge Omar el-Bashir will make better sense if his name is on a list of other world leaders -- led by George Bush, Tony Blair, Silvio Berlusconi, Boris Yeltsin, Ehud Olmert, Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Gordon Brown and Jack Straw.
For these and other Western chiefs have slaughtered and starved far more world children and their mothers than any Bashir -- in Afghanistan, Algeria, Cambodia, Chechnya, Chile, East Timor, Grenada, Haiti, Indonesia, Iraq, Kenya, Kosovo, Laos, Palestine, Somalia, South Africa, Uganda and Vietnam ...
