Are they Republicans trying to have a convention that no one notices?

Their timing couldn't be worse

Not only did they pick Labor Day weekend (if people are watching TV it is mostly baseball not some room filled with old white people) but following 16 days of the Olympics and the Dem convention (is there any oxygen left in the room?) a lot of people are tired of sitting around looking at the box at this point.

By Monday when people turn the tube back on there is sure to be a lot of "Geez are they STILL doing that?" reaction to seeing the Republicans convention. Watching McCain try to read a teleprompter is not going to be the big finish that they need either.

1. I will not pay as much attention to the puke convention

but I am looking forward to the debates.

2. I don't think they have to try very hard...

but I'm sure there will be some great youtube moments that will highlighted. They'll be noticed for all the 'right' reasons.
