This coming week the American public will be privileged to witness the greatest coordinated act of attention diversion and justification of lying in this country’s history. We will see a clear illustration of the “liberal media”’s extended praise for creating an unneeded war and the people responsible for it, aside from themselves. The images of the Bush administration officials wrapping themselves in a flag few of them served under will be broadcast by the “liberal media” while attention to the obvious faults in the reasons given for the war on Iraq and the “liberal media”’s perpetuation of those lies will receive no mention.
The “liberal media” will once again allow the erroneous link between the horrific acts of 9/11 and the former ruler of Iraq to be implied but never point out the absurdity of such claims, that plausible deniability of never actually stating it, the politicization of the worst failure of national security, and their complicity in it. We will see, in full Technicolor, as the deaths of 558 Americans will be used as justification for the leadership of the fundraiser in chief and a moment of silence or two will be paid for their sacrifice to the manipulation of the truth to fit a preconceived decision that caused their deaths.
Enjoy watching as personal responsibility is ignored and as obvious truths that were present before the war and are in black and white now are once again not mentioned. The “liberal media” will ask “Is Iraq better off?” while not asking “Is America better off?” which is the chief concern of citizens and the primary responsibility of the holder of the office of the Presidency.
Please do not change the channel until you have been thoroughly convinced of the lie and that you were informed about your support for it.
