Krispy Kreme to Suffer Boycott by Right Wingers
There’s a competition out there, I think, among right wing nut jobs over which can whine most worthlessly over something connected to the Barack Obama inaugural. In this case, people are whining over free donuts from Krispy Kreme. (These people normally whine that Krispy Kreme has two few “K”s in the name.

7. Yeah but they don't fully make the donuts there
Edited on Fri Jan-16-09 05:06 PM by dmesg
They come there frozen and then they fry and glaze them there. If you want the "real" Krispy Kreme you have to go down to Huntington. But unfortunately the KK in DuPont managed to kill the Fractured Prune, with its heavenly maple syrup and bacon topped donut.

3. My new son has shown
a tendency to shoot left whilst being changed. It helps us figure out how to protect ourselves. Now that I mention this, though, I expect protestors out front.

4. If they were smart, they'd organize a swarm on Krispy Kremes around the nation.
The more free donuts they give out, the greater that company's losses are for the day.

8. I remember the days...
When the histrionics amongst us, looking for attention, were not organized into frothing claques, and simply threw themselves on the floor, kicking and screaming.

Those were better, simpler times.

11. Oh what a horrible fate for Krispy Kreme! Well, the rest of us will just have to make up for it.
At least this will drive a wedge between the rightwing nutjobs and the police. ;-)

25. It reminds me of that crazy Malkin and the Dunkin' Donuts kaffiyah flap.
Remember that one? What is it with right-wing wackos and doughnut companies?

PS. I keep hearing that the comedy industry will suffer once Obama takes over since he is not as easy to make fun of as bush was. But if the "loyal opposition" continues with antics like this, we'll have just as much to laugh about as ever! It's win-win!

27. I normally boycott them because they're Krispy Krap imo
After hearing all the hype, I was surprised to see how second rate they are when they finally came to this area. The crullers (or, as we call them, crawlers) and cake doughnuts from little independent bakeries are 1000% better.

But I'll buy a couple dozen Krispy Kraps just to offset some of the RWN's around here. The chickens will eat them.
