UIC | Finds most scientists believe it's real despite Antarctica study

But after seeing his research quoted time and time again by the likes of conservative pundit Ann Coulter -- who used it to claim there was still much disagreement among scientists as to whether global warming was a problem -- <University of Illinois at Chicago polar researcher Peter Doran> crafted another study.
This one, newly published in Eos, the American Geophysical Union newspaper, found that among the scientists who study the Earth, there is virtually no debate: 90 percent believe global warming is real, and 80 percent believe it's human-caused.
Doran's survey of nearly 3,200 such scientists around the world is the most comprehensive one ever completed.
The only apparent doubters? Petroleum geologists: Just 47 percent of them agreed people have caused global warming ...
